Born in Texas but residing in Lees Summit, MO, Edward Lutz-Lay is a voice over artist for video games, animation, web series, audio drama’s and more! Since a young age, Edward has been enamored with acting, voice or otherwise, and has had a passion for entertaining others through various means. He wrote his own stories, created more characters and voices in his head than he knew what to do with, and studied voices through various different methods. There has always been a special place in his heart for different medias of entertainment; books, cartoons, anime, video games, television, you name it he’s more than likely seen it!

 

His passion for entertainment led him to participate in various activities which would act as an outlet for him or educate him further. From simple acting classes offered in high school, to master voice classes with Chuck Huber. It was through these outlets, and the people he has befriended through them, those who were fellow actors or content creators that he found a lifelong passion for acting, including voice acting.

 

Edward has done much to hone his craft as both an actor and subsequently a voice actor. Through acting classes, vocal training, the wonderful assistance from professors and mentors, and his own personal drive and tenacity to excel, Edward has managed to make great strides in reaching his goals! With a distinctive youthful baritone voice, that can go from being a gruff orc to a heroic military commander, and an energy and enthusiasm that continues to drive him, Edward is continuously searching out new projects to join and more people to work with to find ways to bring the voices in his head to characters and give them life so that he can create a terrific experience for the audience!

 

When he’s not in the booth, he’s finding other outlets to fill his day and keep him motivated. He enjoys fitness, singing, watching movies/tv shows, reading, writing, getting lost in a video game, planning/performing song covers and comedy skits, and making fun new content on his YouTube channel.
